It’s been a whirlwind for the last 11 months since I posted my first blog post and I had every intention of posting more on a regular basis. To tell you the truth I managed to secure a full time position working on something that I enjoy…cats! I had been out of work for more time that I wanted and coupled with my anxiety I felt a bit of a failure but getting the job and enjoying the products meant that it swept me away a little and I didn’t mind as I felt like I could make a difference again.
I have been managing to read a little more but not as much as I wanted to do but Rome wasn’t built in a day as they say so I’ve been taking it one step (and book) at a time.
With everything that has happened since March, we have had a bit more time on our hands due to the current medical circumstances that have taken over the world and it has allowed me take a breather so I can continue to write more. It’s funny how it takes the worst things to happen for us to stop and change how we do things.
I’ve got a stack of books to read and then I bought more. I have a couple of book reviews to write for ones that I’ve finished this year so I’ll be adding those in the upcoming weeks while we are waiting to get back to some kind of normality….I promise not to bombard you J
